Visa and other permits

There are a number of visa agents in operation throughout Thailand, and also within the vicinity of the Embassy and the VFS Norway Visa Application Centre at Amarin Tower. Please be informed that any decision to utilise the service of a visa agent is entirely at the applicant's discretion. However, it is important to note that these agents are in no way whatsoever connected to the Embassy and that they have no influence whatsoever over the outcome of an application. It is also important to note that some of the visa agents charge an unreasonably high fee for services which are not deemed necessary to submit an application. The Embassy has also experienced that certain visa agents help applicants fabricate information and documentation in order to increase the chance of being granted a visa. We strongly advise applicants not to use visa agents who offer to fabricate information in connection with a visa application as it will lead to a rejection by the Embassy if the information submitted is false. If any visa agents say that they can influence your application we urge you to immediately inform the Norwegian Embassy.
