Hospital Visits in Phuket

Last updated: 26.02.2016 // Norwegians love Thailand! There are thousands of Norwegians in the “land of the smiles” at all times. This means, of course, that some of them will need medical assistance from time to time. The Embassy routinely visits hospitals around Thailand which are the ones most frequently used by Norwegians, to ensure that the best level of medical care is provided.

In February 2016 representatives from the Royal Norwegian Embassy and the Honorary Consulate in Phuket visited Vachira Phuket Hospital, Bangkok Phuket Hospital and Phuket International Hospital. During the visits, they looked at the medical facilities, patient rooms and investigation equipment, and they exchanged important information for case handling of Norwegian patients treated at the hospitals. The visits were informative and aimed at both improving communication and developing the good cooperation between the embassy and the hospitals.
