Join Hands to end Human Trafficking
Last updated: 06.06.2014 // On 5 June, The ambassador visited The Pavena Foundation for women and children on the occasion of International Day against Human Trafficking.
Together with the Ambassadors from Spain and Switzerland she stated Norway's commitment to work to end the horrific abuses related to all forms of human trafficking.
The Pavena Rescue Squad offers women and children legal preperation in order to secure needed evidence and witnesses to testify to the legal proceedings against abusers. The Pavena Rescue Squad has a nationwide emergency number (1134) where cases of child labour, child rape, forced detention, prostitution etc. may be reported.
