The Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok is seeking a competent and service-oriented Thai national for a temporary position in the Visa Section. The position will be as a consular assistant.

Visa Applications Online

Thai citizens who are going to visit Norway for up to 90 days can now register their visa applications on the Internet using Visa Portal. This will result in shorter processing times, no queues at the Embassy, as well as making it easier for applicants to reapply for subsequent visas. Applicants can also check their applications online. Applicants using the Visa Portal will be given priority.

Announcing the International Ibsen Scholarships 2010

In 2010 the International Ibsen Scholarship funds amount to a total of 1,000,000 NOK (approx. 6,000,000 THB), and will be awarded to Ibsen-related projects worldwide. The objective is to act as an incentive for critical discourse in regards to existential and society-related subject matters concerning Henrik Ibsen.
