The following are exempted from fee for submitting application for Schengen Visa:
- Children under six years of age
- Pupils, students and their accompanying teachers if the purpose of the travel is studying or other training
- Researchers from third countries travelling in the Schengen area to do scientific research as defined by the European parliament and council recommendation 2005/761/EF of 28 September 2005.
The following are exempted from fee for submitting application for residence permit:
- All EU/EEA nationals.
- Children under the age of 18 years at the time the application is submitted.
Please inform The Embassy staff if you are entitled to be exempted.
Fees are to be paid in Thai baht only. The exchange rate is listed on the Embassy’s information. The exchange rate will be changed by the Embassy without prior notice whenever deemed necessary.
